For the third year running, France galop will be hosting riders and owners of sport and race horses at the Espace France Galop, located alongside the main arena.
By renewing its partnership with one of the most prestigious French horse trials, France Galop clearly puts forward its commitment to establishing strong and lasting bridges between racing and equestrian sports.
What is France Galop :
France galop,is the mother society of french galop racing. Its legal status is governed by the french 1901 law. Placed under the supervision of the ministries of Finance, Agriculture and Interior, the fundamental assignments of France galop are to :
- Encourage galop race horse breeding,
- Establish the galop racing program and calendar,
- Distribute prize money and premiums to race horse breeders and owners,
- Define and apply the Code of Racing,
- Issue racing licences and permits,
- Ensure the proper running of on-site betting,
- Manage 6 racecourses and 3 training centres
- Organize prestigious international races such as the Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe, the Gras Savoye Paris Grand Steeple Chase, the Prix de Diane,…
Created in early 2006, the Owners’ Department is a body internal to France Galop. Its aim is to offer regular assistance and VIP hospitality at our racecourses to galop racehorse owners. Promotion is also part of its effort to attract new owners, develop joint ownership and market racing as a top leisure activity.
